The Brave Tale of King Sudeer was originally written in Hindi. This English translation is a small effort to bring the story to a wider audience. The translation has been done carefully and faithfully, preserving the originality, flow, tone, and meaning of the book.
Aarav Raut
I am currently a Grade 11 student at JNV Amravati. This translation is my humble attempt to make the story accessible to more readers. I began working on the story on 13 September 2020 and completed it on 1 July 2021, when I was in Grade 5.
The story began as a simple assignment given by my father during the COVID period. I was asked to create a story using nine words: king, demon, army, subjects (praja), elephant, horse, spear, flag, and battle. What was meant to be a short, two-page story slowly grew into something much bigger. Page after page, the story expanded-from 2 pages to 3, then 5, and eventually into a 30-page notebook manuscript.
This journey did not happen all at once. There were many pauses along the way. Sometimes, I stopped writing for weeks, and at times even for a month or two. But I always returned to the story with my father’s encouragement, adding new ideas, scenes, and characters whenever inspiration came.
As I continued writing, I hardly realized how quickly time passed. What began as a small assignment gradually turned into a year-long creative journey, and eventually, I was able to complete the story.
Most of the illustrations in this book were created by me along with my mother, and they took nearly two months to finish. Each drawing was made with care to bring the characters and scenes to life. The story has been divided into nine chapters, which take you from one incident to another, leading you into more complex situations.
I hope you enjoy reading all nine chapters of this story. Your thoughts, feedback, and suggestions will encourage me to keep writing and create even better stories in the future.
A Kingdom Soumyadesh Under Threat
There was once a king named Sudeer who ruled over the land of Saumyadesh. King Sudeer loved his people dearly. Near the borders of Saumyadesh lay a magical land called Ugradesh. It was a dangerous and ruthless kingdom, as its name itself suggested.
Ugradesh possessed a vast number of magical elephants, magical horses, and a fierce, immortal demon named Gotasur. He had the power to kill anyone and could have ruled the entire world, but the king of Ugradesh, king Ugraraj, had imprisoned him using magic and wanted to keep him under his control. However, Gotasur had not always been like this.

In a neighboring kingdom called Mridudesh, their ancestors had once created a genie for good purposes. But Ugraraj attacked Mridudesh, seized the genie, and transformed him into Gotasur.

King Sudeer was aware of this, which is why he always remained alert, fearing that Ugradesh might attack Saumyadesh at any time. Although King Sudeer’s army was small, it was brave. However, it could not stand against the magical army of Ugradesh. The magical army numbered around 500,000 soldiers, while King Sudeer had only about 100,000 – four lakh fewer than his enemy.

Beneath King Sudeer’s palace lay many secret tunnels, where he stored large amounts of ammunition and weapons. These weapons were powerful, but they were no match for magical ones. King Sudeer was deeply worried about his kingdom. He did not believe in God at all, so he had no one to turn to for help.
He then thought of his wife Suryanshi’s father, Maharaj Suryakant, who was the ruler of a great kingdom and commanded an army of 200,000 soldiers. With eleven bodyguards, King Sudeer set out for his father-in-law’s kingdom.
Maharaj Suryakant welcomed him with great honor and generously offered him his entire army. Now, King Sudeer had a force of 300,000 soldiers. However, he knew that to defeat Ugradesh, he would need an army of 600,000. He also knew that gathering such a large force was beyond his capacity.
But he realized something else – that Gotasur, who was imprisoned by Ugraraj, could be turned back into a good being and might help them. With this hope, King Sudeer went to a skilled magician named Akram, who was much like him.

Akram did not believe in God either and used his magic only for good purposes. He possessed a special spell – one that could free Gotasur and transform him back into a genie…
The Plan to Enter Ugradesh
Now one of King Sudeer’s problems had been solved – how to free Gotasur and turn him back into a genie. However, another question troubled him – how would he enter the borders of Ugradesh?
King Sudeer once again went to the magician Akram and said, “Akram, give me something that, when it comes in contact with my body, makes me invisible to others, while I can still see everyone.”
Akram had such an object, called a magical cloak. However, it had one drawback – it would make him invisible only to the common people of Ugradesh. The wealthy people, Ugraraj, and his magical soldiers would still be able to see a faint outline of him. Akram immediately informed King Sudeer about this limitation.
A thought came to King Sudeer’s mind – he could avoid the common people, but not Ugraraj, his magical soldiers, or the wealthy citizens of Ugradesh. To solve this problem, King Sudeer kept thinking and thinking about what to do next. He spent one or two days like this – neither sleeping properly nor eating well. After all this effort, a plan suddenly came to his mind.
He ordered his loyal and strong soldiers to inform all the spies present in Ugradesh to find out where the wealthy people lived, where they usually moved around, and also to gather information about when Ugraraj and his magical soldiers would be present in different parts of the kingdom – on which day and at what time. King Sudeer gave these instructions because only these three groups could see a faint outline through the magical cloak. He said, “As soon as you get the information, inform me immediately.”

After a week, one of King Sudeer’s spies arrived and said, “Your Majesty, I have received important news, and I believe I should share it with you in private. If others hear this, they might leave our kingdom out of fear.” King Sudeer ordered the court to be cleared, and all the ministers left except the spy.
The spy began to speak.
Your Majesty, this information comes from a spy who lives in the palace of Ugradesh. He says that Ugraraj announced in an open court – ‘King Sudeer is planning to take away our Gotasur. We must remain alert, and after one month, we will begin preparations for war.’
One of the spy of King sudeer
King Sudeer was shocked. He asked, “How did Ugraraj come to know that we are planning to take Gotasur?”
The spy replied, “Magician Akram revealed it.”
King Sudeer asked, “How could he reveal this? He is a good man.”

The spy said, “Some magical soldiers captured him and beat him brutally. He could not endure the pain, so he was forced to reveal it.”
King Sudeer then asked, “Where did this happen?”
The spy replied, “Magician Akram had gone near the borders of Ugradesh. There, two magical soldiers stopped him and asked who he was. Akram replied, ‘I am a resident of King Sudeer’s kingdom, and I am a magician.’ The soldiers told him to leave that small kingdom and join them instead. Angered by this, Akram said, ‘I am a loyal magician of King Sudeer, and I will never join you. I am a good magician, not an evil one like you.’”
Insulted by his words, the soldiers became furious. Using their magic, they created a room, took Akram inside, and beat him severely while questioning him. They asked what kinds of magic he knew. Akram kept telling the truth. After he finished, he paused for a moment. At that very moment, one of the soldiers asked, “What other magic do you know?” By mistake, Akram revealed the very spell that he had told you about, Your Majesty,” the spy said.
Requesting Help from Maharaj Suryakant
The spy continued, “Hearing this, the two magical soldiers became furious and started beating magician Akram again. Out of fear for his life, Akram was forced to reveal that he had already shared this spell with King Sudeer. After hearing this, the two soldiers left Akram at the border of Ugradesh and rushed to inform Ugraraj. That is how Ugraraj came to know about it.”
The spy added, “That magician Akram has done his part well. Now it is your turn.” Saying this, the spy left to continue his work.
King Sudeer thought to himself that everything now had to be done quickly – he had only one month to save his kingdom. Just a few minutes later, a messenger arrived and provided all the information that King Sudeer needed.
He said, “Ugraraj will visit his kingdom after five days to meet his people, and some magical soldiers will accompany him. As for the wealthy people, they do not move around much in the kingdom. Most of the time, they stay in their homes, or they visit a special magical garden. Common people are not allowed there at all, as the cost to enter is very high, and only the wealthy can afford it.”
King Sudeer then asked, “What are the locations of those wealthy people and the garden?”
The messenger replied, “You will learn that after entering Ugradesh from the spies there.”
King Sudeer then called all his loyal companions and said, “We must complete our task within five days. If it is not done by then, we will not be able to carry it out on the sixth day. Immediately send a letter to my father-in-law, Maharaj Suryakant, saying that I need him for a few days and that he should come to Saumyadesh at once.”

King Sudeer and his father-in-law were skilled in sending secret messages. King Sudeer wrote the message on a special paper on which the hidden text would appear only when heated over fire. He then had the letter brought to him, wrote the secret message, and sent it to Maharaj Suryakant.
The message reached Maharaj Suryakant within a few hours. He knew well that King Sudeer was skilled in writing secret messages, so after reading the visible part, he sent the paper to be heated. Once heated, the hidden message appeared.
King Sudeer had written –
Maharaj Suryakant, I am in great need of your help, as danger is looming over my kingdom. I must take Gotasur from Ugradesh and turn him back into a genie, because he has the power to destroy anyone. If we succeed in doing this, there will be no threat to my kingdom, yours, or those of our relatives. I have called you because I trust you the most. If you wish to ensure the safety of your kingdom for generations, please send me a similar secret message.
King Sudeer
After reading this, Maharaj Suryakant replied on a similar paper –
I will arrive in a day or two. Until then, King Sudeer, continue your work and do not worry about me.
Maharaj suryakant
This message also reached King Sudeer quickly. He revealed the hidden message in the same way. Then he called his loyal men and asked whether the spies in Ugradesh had a place to stay there. No one knew the answer. So King Sudeer called a man named Khabjus, who kept track of all the spies in Ugradesh. He asked him the same question, and Khabjus replied yes. King Sudeer then said to his loyal companions, “You all know that no king can enter Ugradesh without Ugraraj’s permission, and he will certainly not allow me to enter. He would kill me the moment he sees me. Therefore, we must enter that kingdom secretly.”
Chakmak Chakmak Chi Chi Chu Chu, Badal Jaye Yeh Mera Munh
An ordinary magical person would be allowed by Ugraraj to easily enter the boundaries of his kingdom. Therefore, we must first learn the magic of an ordinary magical person from the magician Akram. One of you should call Magician Akram, and someone else should bring our most powerful weapons from the tunnel beneath the palace. After that, I will explain the next part of the plan.

Just then, Maharaj Suryakant arrived there. King Sudeer explained the plan to him up to the point he had shared with his loyal companions and also told him that Magician Akram and their powerful weapons would be brought shortly.
As soon as this was said, Magician Akram arrived. King Sudeer told him to teach their soldiers the magic of ordinary magical people and to give him some magical items that could be purchased in Ugradesh. Akram agreed, taught everyone the magic, and provided the items King Sudeer had asked for. Now, the only thing left was magical currency so that they could appear as genuine magical people. King Sudeer planned to take 50 soldiers with him into Ugradesh.
He called a soldier and instructed him to inform all spies in Ugradesh that they needed 51 magical coins. The soldier asked why only 51 coins were needed when there would be 52 people. King Sudeer replied that he would understand later. The soldier conveyed the message to a spy, who then wrote to the richest spy in Ugradesh, Amju. Amju responded, saying, “You only need 51 coins, but I will send you 100, as I have thousands. You can use more if needed.” Along with the letter, he sent 100 magical coins, which reached King Sudeer that very night.
King Sudeer then gathered everyone in his chamber and began explaining the plan. He said that all the soldiers could now enter Ugradesh without hesitation, as they had both magical currency and knowledge of magic. However, he himself could not enter openly, as everyone in Ugradesh recognized him. He proposed a solution: he would remain behind Maharaj Suryakant at all times, covered with a magical cloak. If seen by magical soldiers or wealthy people, he would appear as a bag hanging behind Suryakant, while ordinary magical people would not see him at all. He also reminded them that only four days remained.
Immediately after, King Sudeer took Maharaj Suryakant to Magician Akram and asked him to teach a spell that could change Suryakant’s appearance into that of an old man, since Ugraraj recognized all kings. Akram taught him the spell-
“Chakmak chakmak chi chi chu chu, badal jaye yeh mera munh.”
Whoever recited it would have their face completely changed. Akram then asked King Sudeer if he needed the spell as well, but King Sudeer declined. After this, both Sudeer and Suryakant returned to the palace and went to sleep.
The next day, King Sudeer called five magical soldiers who were unaware of the plan and assigned them to guard the palace gate, instructing them to remember every face that passed through. As they watched, some ordinary people passed by. In the middle of this, Maharaj Suryakant recited the spell-
“Chakmak chakmak chi chi chu chu, badal jaye yeh mera munh,”
and transformed into an old man. King Sudeer, covered in the magical cloak, followed behind him and entered through the gate.

Later, when the soldiers were asked who had passed through, they mentioned an old man carrying a bag. This confirmed that King Sudeer, under the magical cloak, appeared like a bag to magical soldiers.
Then, in front of those five soldiers, Maharaj Suryakant recited another spell:
“Chakmak chakmak chi chi chu chu, ho jaye pehle jaisa munh,”
and instantly transformed back into himself, while King Sudeer also returned to his original form. The soldiers were astonished. King Sudeer then instructed them to immediately take positions at the main gate of Ugradesh and remove other guards so that no one would notice their entry. The five soldiers were told to remember Maharaj Suryakant’s face carefully to avoid mistakes later. After this, the five soldiers took their positions at the main gate. King Sudeer, Maharaj Suryakant, and the remaining fifty people, fully prepared and carrying 51 magical coins, entered Ugradesh one by one through the main gate. They passed through a city and finally stayed at a small house belonging to spies.
Where is Gotasur actually?
At first, the spies were unable to recognize anyone, but once they revealed their true forms, they immediately recognized them. The spies then told King Sudeer that the place was not safe for him. They decided to send a servant to Amju – the richest man in Ugradesh who had given them the magical coins – with a message that King Sudeer would be coming to meet him.
When Amju heard this, he tightened the security around his house and waited at the door for King Sudeer. At that moment, Maharaj Suryakant, disguised as an old man, and King Sudeer, disguised as a bag, arrived at Amju’s house. Amju was about to drive them away when Maharaj Suryakant said that he was King Sudeer’s father-in-law. Recognizing his voice, Amju realized his mistake and quickly welcomed them inside. He apologized and requested them to come in their real forms next time to avoid such confusion. They then revealed their true identities and returned the hundred magical coins, but Amju refused to take them back, saying they might need them later.

Now they were safe there. Amju apologized again and shared the locations of all the wealthy people. He then said that he had just received an important piece of information- Ugraraj would visit the main city in three days, but there was a secret house near the palace known only to the five magical soldiers. To ensure secrecy, Amju would instruct all wealthy people not to step out of their homes on that day.
Amju then told them they were free to move around his house. King Sudeer asked if he could call his five loyal magical soldiers there, and Amju agreed. The soldiers arrived, and Sudeer asked them if they had a safe house near the palace. They confirmed that it was the safest place. He then asked if there was enough space for him and Maharaj Suryakant, and they said yes. Soon, King Sudeer’s fifty loyal soldiers also arrived. He asked if there would be space for them as well, and again, the answer was yes.
King Sudeer then explained to Suryakant that they could reach that safe house in the same way they had arrived there, with the soldiers ensuring their protection. Maharaj Suryakant agreed. After the plan was finalized, King Sudeer instructed forty of his soldiers to spread around the palace, while seventeen stayed at Amju’s house for a day. The next morning, at sunrise, they left and blended into the crowd. As planned, they all eventually reached the secure house of the magical soldiers.
The magical soldier explains that Gotasur is far above the palace, in space, on a floating piece of land, which is why it cannot be seen. Hearing this, King Sudeer asks a question: how can they reach there? All five of them reply together that they need a perfectly round, ball-like object. If it is placed at a specific spot in the center of the palace and they focus their thoughts on that land, they will be able to reach it.

King Sudeer then asked where that object was. They all answered together – it was in Ugraraj’s chamber. Hearing this, King Sudeer felt a bit relieved and asked what would happen once they reached that land. The soldiers replied that they did not know much, but Ugraraj had told them that many powerful magicians lived there.King Sudeer concluded that since the object was in Ugraraj’s chamber, they had no option but to steal it. The soldiers agreed. They decided that the theft must be carried out after Ugraraj left, and they would have to reach the floating land within 24 hours, as Ugraraj would return to the palace within that time.
Joy tinged with sorrow
As King Sudeer spoke, he ordered his soldiers to summon men who could dig tunnels at great speed. He instructed them to dig a tunnel from Ugraraj’s chamber to the center of his palace -without letting anyone get even the slightest hint of it. King Sudeer reminded them that they had only one day. Soon, night fell, and the tunnel diggers arrived and began their work at great speed.
King Sudeer obtained a detailed map of Ugraraj’s palace from the five magical soldiers. The map showed everything – where the magical traps were, where Ugraraj’s chamber was, where the entrances were. King Sudeer was happy to know the locations of the traps, as they were the main obstacle. But even in that happiness, there was worry – he knew where the traps were, but not how dangerous they were.

When King Sudeer first saw the map, he was shocked. There were not just one or two traps, but magical traps at every step – ones that affected everyone except Ugraraj and his soldiers.
Just as King Sudeer was about to speak, one of his spies came running near the hidden house of the magical soldiers. Though he couldn’t see the house, he called out softly, “King Sudeer, take me inside – I have important information.” King Sudeer heard him and quickly brought him in.
The spy said that if anyone moved even a step closer to Gotasur within a distance of one mile, Ugraraj would automatically appear there to protect him – but only if Ugraraj was inside his palace. Hearing this, King Sudeer decided they would enter the palace only after one day. The spy added another crucial piece of information, on that floating land in space, twenty of the world’s most powerful magicians were always stationed to guard Gotasur, and they could hide anywhere.
After delivering this secret, the spy left. King Sudeer was troubled – facing such powerful magicians would not be easy. He wondered if they should take Magician Akram there, but then questioned how Akram alone could fight them.
To solve this, King Sudeer called Maharaj Suryakant and asked if there was any magical master nearby. Maharaj Suryakant said yes – there was a magical Guru in the forest near Ugradesh who had the ability to make any disciple the most powerful magician in the world within just one day.
Hearing this, King Sudeer felt hopeful and immediately ordered that Akram be sent to the Guru at once. As soon as Akram received the message, he packed his belongings and set off into the dense forest. After some time, he reached there and began searching for the Guru – but couldn’t find him and suddenly fainted.

While he was unconscious, some unknown people poured drops of water from a small container onto his feet and placed a necklace around his neck. Because of that necklace, Akram began to float. When he regained consciousness, he found himself flying one kilometer above the ground. At first, he was terrified, but when he realized he wasn’t falling, he calmed down.
He saw many magical disciples around him. He examined his body and noticed a necklace around his neck with three small containers attached to it.

Searching for the magical Guru, he soon spotted him in the distance and flew toward him. While flying, he realized he could move ten times faster in the air than on land, which made him very happy.
When he reached the Guru, the Guru said, “Never remove the necklace you are wearing. It will protect you from every danger, and the containers will help you greatly.”
He explained:
- The first container, marked with the sky, would let him fly one kilometer up for every drop placed on his feet.
- The second container, marked with the sea, would let him go one meter underwater for each drop.
- The third container would bring him back – whether from the sky or the sea – by using the same number of drops.
The Guru assured him that he would not face any difficulty in breathing while flying or underwater. He also gave him a magical paper that would automatically display a daily schedule starting from 6 a.m.
Magician Akram in the magical world
Magician Akram then set out to explore the magical world. There, he met some magical disciples who told him that no matter how long it felt, he would not be able to stay for more than one day, because time moved very slowly in the magical world.
Akram walked a little further when two magical disciples approached him again and said that they had also just arrived and wanted to be friends with him. Akram spent time with them, living happily and learning many new things.
The next day, Akram checked his magical timetable and saw that he had to go to the magical Guru to learn how to use and defend against the “magical shuriken,” the most powerful weapon among magicians. He told his two friends, and they immediately got ready and went with him to the Guru.
There, many magical shurikens were kept. As soon as Akram touched one, he received a powerful shock and fell unconscious. After some time, he regained consciousness and was given water.

Nearby, a spy from Ugradesh had recognized Akram as the magician from King Sudeer’s kingdom. He thought that if he informed Ugraraj that Akram had died, he would receive a great reward. Before his lie could be discovered, he planned to flee to another kingdom and live like a rich man.
With this thought, the spy went to Ugraraj and told him that Akram was dead. Hearing this, Ugraraj became overjoyed and, in his excitement, rewarded the spy with a priceless necklace studded with diamonds that had once belonged to his grandfather. The spy, not wanting to risk being exposed, secretly fled Ugradesh with his family and the necklace.
Soon after, Ugraraj publicly announced that Magician Akram was dead. King Sudeer’s spies heard this and immediately informed him. Ugraraj, meanwhile, thought to himself that when King Sudeer heard the news, he would be devastated and abandon his plan to free Gotasur, as it would be like losing one of his strongest hands.
However, only one person knew the truth – the friend of that spy. Showing honesty, he informed King Sudeer that Akram was still alive and that the spy had lied. Hearing this, King Sudeer felt relieved.
Meanwhile, in the magical world, Akram’s training continued. Earlier, he had been knocked unconscious by simply touching the magical shuriken, but now he could hold it, aim it, throw it, and even defend himself against it. Even if it struck him, it no longer harmed him.
He also learned a new spell from the magical Guru – the power to strike someone with a ball of lightning.
The next day, when Akram went with his friends to the Guru, he saw many different magical animals – elephants, lions, snakes, birds, and even fish. The Guru told him that to become the most powerful magician, he must raise a magical animal companion that would help him defeat enemies.

Akram chose a magical elephant. The Guru handed it over and told him that the responsibility for its care, training, and growth was entirely his.
The elephant was small and beautiful, and too young to fly. So Akram carried it home using his magic and built a shelter for it. He grew a field of sugarcane nearby and fed the elephant, planning to begin its training the next day.
However, the next morning, the elephant was missing. Akram searched everywhere but couldn’t find it – until he looked up and saw it flying above him. His friends told him that they had taught the elephant how to fly. The elephant came down to him, and Akram began training it further.
The following day, Akram went again to the Guru, expecting to learn something new. When they arrived, no one was there. Suddenly, he saw a shuriken floating in the air, which quickly flew toward him. Akram caught it skillfully and threw it back in the direction it came from – but it shattered into pieces mid-air. At that very moment, the magical Guru appeared.
When Akram asked how this happened, the Guru said that this was exactly what he had come to learn. Akram quickly mastered this ability – the power to destroy even the strongest weapons instantly.

After that, he trained his elephant, which soon learned a special ability – it could grow very large or become very small.
The next morning, Akram checked his timetable and saw that the Guru had called him immediately. When he reached there, the Guru told him that he no longer needed the magical containers, as he would now learn to fly, swim underwater, and return to the ground using his own power. Akram learned this quickly and no longer depended on the containers. The following day, his timetable showed- “Today you will learn a special magic, followed by a test.” Akram went to the Guru, who taught him the power of teleportation. Soon, Akram mastered it, and the Guru said that it was now time for his test.
The drama of Kiba Tiba
Then, the magical Guru disappeared, and a group of magical soldiers appeared. Seeing them, Magician Akram became furious, as they were the ones who had once beaten him. Unable to control his anger, he immediately threw a shuriken at them, which struck them with a powerful shock.
Just then, one of the magicians guarding the floating land in space appeared before Akram. Akram teleported and struck him with a shuriken, defeating him instantly. But soon after, twenty-five more such powerful guardian magicians appeared. Akram used all the magic he had learned to fight them. At that moment, he remembered the Guru’s words: “These animals will help you greatly in battle.”
He called his elephant and commanded it to grow large and crush the enemies. The elephant expanded to a massive size and trampled them all. At that moment, the magical Guru reappeared and said, “You have passed the test.” Hearing this, Akram returned to the real world.
There, Akram found a poisoned shuriken. He realized that even if someone survived its impact, the poison would surely kill them. He modified the weapon so that it would return to him after being thrown – killing the enemy without losing the weapon. With this, he went to King Sudeer and told him that he had returned from the magical world.
Meanwhile, Ugraraj was still searching for his precious necklace but couldn’t find it. Suddenly, he remembered that he had accidentally given it to the spy. Realizing this, he calmed himself, thinking he could retrieve it anytime – he only needed King Sudeer to leave his kingdom.
At the same time, King Sudeer devised a clever plan to make Ugraraj believe that he had given up on freeing Gotasur. He ordered that people resembling him be brought to the palace. Only two arrived – twin brothers named Kiba and Tiba.
Soon, Queen Suryanshi came to see them. She noticed that Tiba resembled King Sudeer’s appearance closely, while Kiba’s voice matched King Sudeer’s voice. King Sudeer then gave instructions- Tiba was to wear royal clothes, ride a horse, and be sent toward the border of Ugradesh, pretending to return home. Meanwhile, Kiba would hide behind the throne and speak in King Sudeer’s voice, saying, “My closest friend, Magician Akram, is dead. Because of this, I could not take Gotasur from Ugraraj and have returned home.”

Queen Suryanshi carried out the plan. Just as King Sudeer expected, the spies of Ugradesh heard this and rushed to inform Ugraraj. Hearing the news, Ugraraj was overjoyed – so much so that he wanted to reward his spies. But he had nothing to give, as his precious necklace was missing. He then ordered his personal magical soldiers to find the spy who had taken the necklace and bring both the spy and the necklace back immediately.
The soldiers searched everywhere but soon discovered that the spy had already fled Ugradesh. They were terrified to report this to Ugraraj, knowing he would execute them in anger. So, they decided to seek refuge with King Sudeer instead.
When they reached king Sudeer, he asked why they had come. They explained everything – that they were Ugraraj’s personal soldiers, sent to find the spy, but now feared for their lives. Hearing this, King Sudeer felt compassion for them. They requested to serve him instead and protect him. Pleased, King Sudeer agreed – but on one condition, they must stay with him at all times. They all accepted immediately.

Among them was the youngest soldier, Hachi, who knew about the dangerous magical traps in Ugraraj’s palace. When King Sudeer stood by the window, worried about how to cross those traps, Hachi approached him and said that there was no need to face them directly – he knew a safe path inside the palace.
King Sudeer initially doubted him, especially when Hachi claimed that traps existed even beneath the palace. But Hachi insisted and suggested sending soldiers to check. When King Sudeer did so, his soldiers discovered a hidden cave in the tunnel – and inside it, the dead bodies of tunnel diggers. This confirmed Hachi’s truth, and King Sudeer began to trust him.

Just then, Magician Akram arrived. King Sudeer was overjoyed to see him, and they embraced. King Sudeer noticed a baby elephant with Akram and asked about it. Akram explained that it was his magical companion and capable of extraordinary things.
King Sudeer then said, “Listen carefully – we have only one night left. Tomorrow, we leave this place and enter Ugraraj’s palace. I will take Hachi with me, as he knows the safe path. The rest of you must spread out and hide across the palace.”
With the plan set, everyone went to sleep, and the night passed.
The fierce battle between Magician Akram and the Guardians of Space
The next day, as Ugraraj left his palace to visit his subjects, one of King Sudeer’s magical soldiers came and informed him that Ugraraj had stepped out. Hearing this, everyone began their preparations. Magician Akram asked his magical elephant to shrink in size so that it could accompany him inside the palace.

Meanwhile, King Sudeer called Hachi and asked him to come along. King Sudeer, Maharaj Suryakant, Magician Akram, and Hachi quietly set out toward Ugraraj’s palace. When they reached the entrance, Akram used his magic to render all the magical soldiers inside the palace unconscious. With the path now safe, they slowly moved inside. Hachi was placed at the front, and everyone followed him in a line. Soon, they reached Ugraraj’s chamber. Just as King Sudeer was about to step inside, Hachi suddenly warned him to stop, saying that stepping inside could trigger danger. But King Sudeer could not stop in time. The moment he stepped in, a magical mouse ran away from there.

Hachi urgently said that it must be caught immediately. Akram quickly sent his elephant, which caught the mouse and brought it back. Feeling pity, Akram removed its magic and released it.
Hachi explained that if the mouse had not been stopped in time, it would have gone to Ugraraj and bitten him, alerting him to the intruders. Ugraraj would have returned instantly and killed them all.
Without wasting time, King Sudeer picked up the spherical object and asked Hachi to move ahead. They followed the safe path again and soon reached the center of the palace. There, they found a place meant for placing the spherical object, surrounded by a large circular structure.

They assumed that if they stood within that circle and placed the object, they could reach any place they desired. When they tried it, they were astonished – it worked. They found themselves in open space, standing on a similar circular platform, with the vastness of space around them.
They began searching for Gotasur, moving together so they could fight any magician they encountered. For half an hour, they searched but found nothing. They were surprised that no guardian magician had appeared yet.

Suddenly, all the space guardians appeared at once and attacked them. Akram immediately created an invisible protective shield, keeping everyone safe inside. Using his intelligence and mastery of magic, he defeated all the guardians – but by the time he faced the last one, his strength was nearly exhausted.
The last magician launched several deadly attacks. At that moment, Akram had an idea. He called his elephant, which came out of the protective shield. Akram gave it the poisoned shuriken and instructed it to throw it at the enemy. The elephant did exactly that. The magician did not die from the impact, but the poison finished him.

As soon as the last guardian fell, they found Gotasur trapped inside a large glass enclosure. Akram immediately began casting a spell to transform Gotasur back into a genie and free him from the prison. As soon as Gotasur was released, he turned into a genie and accepted Akram as his master.
Akram ordered the genie to send all of them back to their world. The genie obeyed, and they all safely returned to King Sudeer’s palace. Then Akram gave another command – to bring Ugraraj there immediately. At once, Ugraraj appeared.
Seeing Akram, Ugraraj angrily demanded how he dared summon him. But upon noticing the genie, he calmed down and asked why he had been brought there. No one answered. Instead, Akram absorbed all of Ugraraj’s magical powers into himself.
As soon as Ugraraj lost his powers, he forgot everything and fainted. In his unconscious state, he saw memories of his childhood – eating meals in the palace with his elder brother and riding horses together.

When he regained consciousness, he saw King Sudeer in front of him and asked, “Brother, where am I? ”King Sudeer replied gently, “You are home. Now come and eat.”
Seeing the two brothers reunited, Akram felt immense joy. He then summoned the genie, transferred all his magical powers to him, and said, “From today, you are free. Use these powers to correct the wrongs of the world.” With that, Akram became an ordinary man once again.
From that day onward, Ugraraj and King Sudeer lived together in harmony. The once small kingdom of Saumya grew larger by uniting with Ugradesh, and all conflict between the two brothers came to an end.
